Fling George W. Bush around
.. here.
You can let him fall through the bubbles as well. A very good procrastination tool.

Eviction
Tonight was the last Big Brother eviction show. My favourite moment was when David (the gay farmer) saw the car he won and said “that’s they gayest car ever!”.
Apart from big brother watching I’m doing some work on my site, the one I was hopeing to sell. The sale is not looking good, all the interest I had was from overseas people who got scared off by all the rules and regulations of buying .au domain names. But on the bright side I seem to have (no doubt temporary) renewed interest in the site. I’m putting a lot of the old stuff I had on there back on and also I’m going to try having a forum on the site one more time (4th time lucky?). Maybe I can get the revenue levels back up if I put some extra work into the site. I’m completely broke at the moment.
The news is on and just said that 22 children were killed in an Israeli air raid on a building in Qana. So now I suddenly feel very selfish blogging about crap when there’s all this terrible stuff happening to people in other parts of the world.

Big brother last Friday Night Live
Tonight was the last of the Friday Night Live games of Big Brother. I don’t normally get to watch them because it’s the time Kasey goes to bed and so I’m busy reading books and tucking her in, but I taped it tonight. It was good viewing as they all took a leap of faith off a 15 meter high platform. Camilla’s jump was pretty emotional and I think it has pretty much won her the game. She did a great job. I’ll be suprised if she doesn’t win BB06.

Telemarketer
There is this telemarketing company from India who ring me relentlessly every day, around dinner time and who just won’t stop talking. Today it was very funny though because Kasey answered the phone:
Kasey: *excitedly* HELLO????
…pause
Kasey: Mum it’s that man!!
Me: I’m cooking…
Kasey: She’s busy
…pause
Kasey: No my dad is at work…. and my mum is cooking
…pause
Kasey: oh I don’t want to talk anymore…bye.
Hangs up.
I couldn’t stop laughing in the kitchen.
I do sympathize with telemarketers, I understand they have an awful job and I am always polite (and sometimes even take up their offer!) but they have been extra annoying lately. I wouldn’t even bother having a landline if I didn’t have to for the internet. It’s expensive and annoying.

To get rid of bed bugs…
Here’s a handy tip I came across today: To get rid of bedbugs, put dried orange skin under the mattress, bedsheet or pillow. As it happens we just happen to have some dried orange skin next to the bed. Not to get rid of bed bugs but just because Kasey had an orange in bed a few days ago
I have a proper post on bed bugs if you are looking for more info over here.
In other news my Shih Tzu site lost it’s Google PR 5 and went down to a PR 0
I’m not sure why but it sure didn’t deserve the PR 5 since it has no incoming links and only 500 visitors a month so it’s only fair I suppose.
What else… I’ve been on a ticket buying splurge this last few weeks, we now have tickets to Hi-5, the Wiggles and the Fairies. Maybe I’m trying to compensate for the fact that I had to pull Kasey out of kinder because my course is on Fridays this semester, same day as kinder. Not that it’s a bad thing since she enjoys the childcare more then kinder. But I wish we could have done both. This is my last semester at TAFE and I will miss it a lot, it’s been a lot of fun going there. I can’t believe it’s been nearly two years already since I began the course, the time really flew by.

Still living
Kasey is still getting lots of colds, guess that’s the winter for ya.
I’m just in the middle of trying to sell my web site. I’ve had enough of it and it will help me pay some of my debts off (well I hope anyway). It’s really time to start something new properly and I should have done this a while ago I think.
So fingers crossed all goes well.
