Dryer tip

Did you know that changing your dryer’s lint filter is not enough? Apparently if you use dryer sheets an invisible film forms over the lint filter. You can test this by trying to run water through it. If it’s blocked the water will just sit in it and not run through. This is very bad for your dryer and not only does it shorten it’s life dramatically but can also cause fires. To remove the film buildup you need to wash it with soap and water and a small brush like a toothbrush. It only takes moments and will save you much hassle.
I found this tip at aimlessdirectrion.com amongst a whole lot of other useful tips.
